pigeon pair
Here I am today. Twenty-one weeks along and still so much bigger than I was at this point when I was pregnant with Audrey. We had our 20 week scan the other day, and thankfully everything appears to be in the right place. Still getting my head around it, but that tummy? There's a little boy in there! And a fairly active little chap he seems, too - perhaps it's a good thing his older sister already trained us well in the ways of sleep deprivation. ;)

How very exciting. Glad to hear all is well. By the way, where does one find a wip basket (a couple of posts ago). I'd love to get my hands on one.

Wow. Congrats. I'm a new reader and I thought I'd say hello.
I just had my second bub almost 6 months ago, and I heard the expression 'pigeon pair' just a couple of months before giving birth to my girl (I had a boy first).

Congrats on having a boy!! What wonderful news. I'm so pleased that everything's going so well. In fact just popped in to send you an email to see how you were, when I saw this lovely post.
Oh I so hear you on the being much bigger this time around! I made the mistake of getting out the pregnancy photo's with Bella last night. Why on earth would I do that to myself?! And it doesn't help when Jim points out that I started this pregnancy bigger than I was when I got pregnant with Bella. I know it was meant to be helpful, but you know that all I heard was that I was already fat this time!
The fact that you're four weeks ahead of me means that we should end up having them around the same time - assuming that this one fits in to the plan that everyone expects. Hah!
Anyway, you look wonderful and congratulations again!

i love that term. after my p p people kept on saying to me, 'aren't you clever having one of each' All I could think of was, 'no, I'm just tired, not clever' I couldn't hide the bump second time around. I just popped out. enjoy the bump and looking at your little boy.

I grew up with all girls so you can imagine how scared I was when I had a 10.5 lb baby boy! We already had my daughter then 3 But everything soon became super clear when I held him. This was my shot at making the man of every womans dreams! I'll teach him to buy flowers open doors and say excuse me...he's 4 and it's a work in progress but he's got me wrapped around his finger with morning kisses and wild flowers. Enjoy your gift of a son. Boys are different and I love that. You will have massive insight into the mind of a growing male.
ps. You look beautiful!
hugs

Yes! Wonderful news!
My girls are 4 & 7 and I'm still sleep deprived. Doesn't it last forever once you have kids? You know, waiting up to make sure your teens get home at a reasonable time... worrying that your adult kids are making safe choices. I feel like I may never know restful sleep again.

You have the perfect pregnant belly! Mine sticks way out in front and is not gradual at all. People have been asking me since I was 28 weeks if I'm due, like,...yesterday. I'm 34 weeks now. But you look great in your belly. :o)
