rewind
I've had the best of intentions when it comes to blogging over the last couple of weeks. But then it's been one of 'those' last couple of weeks. I know everyone is busy at the moment. Perhaps it's the time of year, the change in season. For me it's been a mixture of those: lots of family stuff, good and not so. Beginnings, celebrations and endings - Audrey's 4th birthday (so fun), a wonderful 20 week ultrasound with our new little one looking a-ok (relief), and then my grandfather passed away suddenly Sunday evening. So, a time of both reflection and gratitude here. A strange mix.
Anyway. I've been missing this space and am going to make an effort to post more regularly. I was going to take a leaf out of Leslie's book and try posting every day, but I'm thinking every other day is a more reasonable expectation for me! To start, here is Dolores monkey, who (with her 3 brothers) found new homes via my etsy shop this afternoon.
Also, while I'm rambling insanely, I may as well add that I've listened to the new Clare Bowditch song about 100 times today. Love it.

congratulations on your etsy update today - I watched the two minutes of frenzy, it blew me away really!. Well done!

I'm sorry for the loss of your grandfather. Some changes are hard, indeed.

Loosing a grandparent is difficult. My last grandparent passed when I was 19. I think that is why I appriciate my husbands grandfather so very much. I appriciate his storys more and his wisdom. So sorry for your loss.
I love the song... I can see why you have listened to it so much...

So sorry to hear about your grandfather, mine turns 88 next week and was hit by a car a few days ago as he was crossing the street (on the green light). Tense times, I hope you have a peaceful week with your family. Happy birthday, Audrey. 4 is going to be a blast!

Condolences to you on the loss of your grandfather. Please don't feel that you have to blog daily or even weekly, you seem to have a lot going on.

Great song! Any ideas when the softies book will be available in the uk or on amazon? Can't wait.

i thought of your work last week, i love the fabrics you use for the main body of your softies and spotted a rather lovely brown tweed weave the other day. it was on a stand at an exhibition i went to, the knitting & stitching show, which travels around the uk. they were tester fabrics for the fashion industry being sold off cheap, it is a wool and silk mix, and was £5 a metre (about $2-$3!). i could have bought much more, but just got 1m and some cheap liberty prints.
sorry to read about your grandad : (

I had the computer on ready to check for the new monkeys and hopefully buy, but between a birthday afternoon tea and to and fro of the computer...i missed it! It was just too quick...well done, they looked beautiful!
Sorry to hear about your grandfather, thinking of you in this busy time of life.

Sorry to hear about your Grandfather, congrats on your scan and Happy Birthday to Audrey.
You have had a busy month or so.
I like to post but daily is just too much for me. A couple a week good for me.

I *love* Delores. Only I missed out on getting her. I think you said a while ago that you don't do individual orders? What about for Christmas time? And I live in Darwin, so it's not like you have to post anything far *grin*

That's a mixed bag alright - highs and lows.
We just had our 20wk scan too - I can't believe how much technology has changed in the wee 3yrs since I had my first. Did you get a pic ? I posted mine, and it looks like Homer Simpson - very disturbing !!!
;)
