Harry & Charlie

This is Harry and his very good friend, Charlie.

Both born today, and already developing strong individual tastes in neckwear.

They'll be included in my next shop update, sometime over the next week. I can't make enough of these at the moment, I'm having such fun with them. I may have to sit on my hands before this becomes the giraffe blog.

no offense intended but I think they rather look like a certain antelope we get in northern Kenya, known as Geranuk. But very cute either way! =)

No! Absolutely no sitting on your hands allowed. Not when the giraffes are so freakin' cute and there are people out here needing the cuteness... You just keep right on sewing. Those ears! I just love the ears!

I've been following your blog for just a few weeks, but I have to comment and tell you that I simply love your work.
After the adoption of our twins creativity was something I simply didn't even think of but now you've inspired me to get creating again. I made my first softie the other day (a penguin) while the twins napped and the 5 and 6 year old worked on their schooling. If I can do it with four, you can do it with two! Besides your animals just come alive and seem so effortless, turning out simply perfect.
The giraffe's are my new favorite of yours, too fun! Let me know if you ever make twin girl giraffes (one with funky pink accents, the other with purple) as I'll be first in line to buy them!

These are so cute. I have to admit at first glance I thought they were Australian kangaroos. After reading I realized they were giraffes. Either way they are so adorable I just love them. The neckties add so much personality. Some little children are going to love opening these this Christmas. You're so creative!

So cute. My son (age 2) always says "long neck" when he sees a giraffe.
