Yellow, specimen one: Mervyn. To go in a hamper for silent auction organised by Shannon, to raise money for PANDA. Do you know they don't receive government funding? Pretty astounding. If you've ever been afflicted with PND, or know someone who is struggling with it, you'll know how important an organisation this is.
Yellow, specimen two: quilt! The top is finished and needs a jolly good iron. I am nonplussed with it, but hope the love grows after I take all the time to baste, quilt and bind the bugger. No quilting for a while though, as we are right in the middle of school holidays. Bike riding supervision calls. :)

How I love that grey and gold floral print in your quilt its beautiful. Loving your quilt it will look great when its done. Isn't Yellow supposed to be 'the colour' for 2009?

Bike riding is much more important than quilting. Have fun.
I love your PANDA guy - I hope that they raise heaps.

Things have been a bit yellow on my blog too - maybe there's something in the air!

I shoved old mervin in Stevens face last night saying ' isnt he just beautiful and feel him, he's stuffed so well...' he patted and agreed. And then said ' YOU really gotta stop making softies'
I love him. Mervin that is.

I love your giraffes Fiona, the shape of their little bodies reminds me of gourds. Especially in mustard. Very sweet.

Mervyn is lovely - I just adore your giraffes! And the quilt looks good too and will be even better once it is quilted. I'm sure you will fall in love with it all over again!

Can't believe it's taken so long to bump into your blog. And it seems Mervyn, the gangly one, has stolen my heart. Lovely stuff around here!
