Thanks for your nice words about the Marmalade cat doll. I got quite enthusiastic about the lilac/blue cat after that last one, and so now - three more. All made from wool flannel, two boys (one with a favorite Liberty print as a tie) and a wee girl with a lined wool cape. They've all gone straight into the shop this afternoon.
With them, a couple of rabbit dolls. Moira, in green and Bernadette above. Bernadette started out life as Bernard, but he just wasn't doing it for me. Turns out he was supposed to be a she all along (I'll pack the tie and short trousers in with her just in case there's a change of heart).
It's taken me weeks to get these together. It's been so cold here I'm having trouble dragging myself to the sewing machine at night. Henry is having an extra long sleep this afternoon, though, and my hands are almost thawed out so I'm off to cut out giraffes while the going is good.

They are gorgeous! I love the bottom one especially. What fabric is her skirt made out of, if you don't mind me asking.

oh, i think i finally got one of your creations! and its Bernadette, which is fine for us as we are a very open family and s(he) can express herself as she chooses...so happy!
they are all so beautiful. I'm still waiting to see if you will sell any patterns...can't wait for that.

Hi Rachel! That's a Japanese print by Yuwa from the Live Life Collection. I got it last year from Superbuzzy. Just checked and they seem to be out of it, but some of the other online suspects might be worth checking out for it. :)

Oh my goodness! So much cuteness!
I especially like Bernadette/Bernard, her/his lovely dark grey "fur" goes so well with her/his blue dress and blue shorts & cute tie as well. susaninfrance/texas is very lucy to have nabbed her/him up! :)

Oh I missed out AGAIN!!
I ought to be on the email list but it didn't come through. I bought Polly for my baby while I was pregnant in 2007 but as I ended up having a boy (Hugo) I have been waiting for one of your more "boy-suitable" toys to come up. Bother bother bother. They are beautiful, no wonder they sell out so quickly. I love Polly in the interum.
