So! Two weeks since the market and I have been woefully absent from this here blog. The (marvellously!) cooler weather brought with it a couple of 'lergies, which meant I've been tending to sick kids since the market's end. Thankfully, though, now it's school holidays and we are enjoying some slow days and catch up time. So hooray for that.
Bowerbird Bazaar was fantastic. There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere, loads of people through the door, delicious food (perhaps too delicious - we were situated right across from some extremely tempting pastries), and, thankfully, lots of sales. I shared a table with Fiona and had a lovely time chatting in amongst it all. It was fantastic to meet some very lovely customers, and other nice people like Zoe, Jane, and Naomi (I bought a couple of her prints for Audrey, and that's one of her bicycle cards above, sitting on my never-usually-this-clean desk). These terrible, low-light pictures taken with my phone are all I have, as I ran out of time to charge my batteries for the proper camera in the rush. But, for posterity, this is pretty much what it looked like. All in all, a fun weekend. Can't wait to do it again. (After a little rest).
